District authorities have decided to increase security in the court compound, SSP KB Singh said today.
Surprise checking would be conducted and people would not be allowed on the premises without any work to check the entry of men bearing arms, he said.
Bar Association is also considering a proposal to issue identity cards to its lawyers, he added.
Alleged gangster Vicky Tyagi was shot dead by a juvenile shooter on February 16 who had entered the court room with arms masquerading as a lawyer.
