Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Monday
denied reports of farmers` suicide for failing to get the
right price of their produce in Burdwan and Bankura districts
but assured it would probe the matter.
"Reports about farmers` suicide in a section of media
are not correct," Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee told
reporters on the sidelines of a programme.
