Woman killed, husband, mother-in-law injured in attack

A woman was on Sunday killed and her husband and mother-in-law injured by her brother-in-law over a petty dispute in Badhpura area in Etawah.

Etawah: A woman was on Sunday killed and her
husband and mother-in-law injured by her brother-in-law over
a petty dispute in Badhpura area here, police said.

Satyanrayan and his wife Laxmi Devi (25) were attacked
with an axe by his brother Kuldeep over a petty dispute in
Madaiya village, they said, adding the victim`s mother-in-law
Poti Devi was also injured when she attempted to intervene.

Police said the trio was taken to hospital where Laxmi
was declared brought dead.

Kuldeep was absconding after the incident, they added.
