Kanpur (UP): Apparently fed up over frequent fights with her husband over lack of money, a 26-year-old woman allegedly killed her two children before committing suicide in Chaubepur area here today.
Bodies of Mamata and her two children - three-and-a-half- year-old Shristri and one-and-a-half-year-old Shreyansh - was found hanging from the ceiling at their rented house by the landlord and neighbours, police said.
Mamata's husband works as a driver of a private tanker and the couple used to frequently fight over not having enough money to run the house, they said, adding that the husband was not at home when the incident took place.
As per initial investigations, police said it seems the woman committed suicide after killing her two children.
Further investigations are on, police said.
