Woman shot dead by husband in Unnao

Unnao: A 40-year-old woman was shot dead
allegedly by her husband in this district after she objected
to his illicit relationship with another woman, police said.

Kusma was shot dead while she was sleeping in the house
in Thana village on Thursday night by her husband Rakesh Yadav, they
said.

According to the brother of the victim, Yadav was having
an affair with another woman of the same village over which
the couple had been fighting.

Kusma, who had been living with her parents for the past
one year, had returned only 25 days ago on the assurance
of Yadav, he added.

A case has been registered against Yadav and his brother
in this connection, police said.
