Woman stabbed to death by son in UP's Shamli

Muzaffarnagar: A 48-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her son, who then committed suicide at Bharsi village in Shamli district, police said.

Jony (25), who was mentally unsound and undergoing treatment, stabbed Kamlesh over some family dispute on Tuesday. Later, he ended his life using the same weapon, SP Vijay Bhushan said.

The bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigation is on, he added.
