Muzaffarnagar: A youth has been arrested here for allegedly abetting the suicide of his girlfriend,
officials said here on Thursday.
Sushil Kumar (20) and his girlfriend, Baby (18), allegedly consumed poison last week after their parents
objected to their relationship as they belonged to different castes, said officials.
While baby was declared brought dead to the hospital, Sushil managed to survive, they said.
Following an FIR lodged by BABY'S father, Sushil was arrested yesterday for abetment to suicide and attempt to suicide at Khergi village yesterday, said officials.
