Dehradun: An ascetic was trampled to death
by an elephant which strayed into a village from the nearby
forest in Pantdeep area of this district.
The 'Sadhu', who was known as Mota Baba, was inside his
hut when the elephant attacked his house and trampled him
yesterday, police said.
It also damaged over six other huts in the area, however
no one was injured as the huts were empty.
