Eight coaches of Delhi-Faizabad Express derails near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district got derailed near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday evening, as per reports.

Hapur: Eight coaches of Delhi-Faizabad Express derailed near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday evening, as per reports.

Train number 14206 was said to be on its way from Old Delhi to Faizabad.

Reports said that last eight coaches of the train went off the track.

Confirming the news, Anil Saxena, ADG Railway said, "8 coaches of Old Delhi-Faizabad Express derailed near Garhmukteshwar in Hapur district."

"Traffic on both up and down line on Delhi-Moradabad section is affected," he added, as per ANI.

At the same time, Saxena said, "No information on any injury as of now, officials of Moradabad division and Northern Railway HQs have moved for the accident site."
