Girl student commits suicide in Roorkee town

A 10th class student allegedly committed suicide after she failed to clear her board exams, police said today.

Haridwar: A 10th class student allegedly
committed suicide after she failed to clear her board exams,
police said today.

Sheeba (15) was found hanging from the ceiling fan at her
house in Roorkee town by family members last evening.

Her family told the police that she had gone to a nearby
cyber cafe to see her results. As she did not find her role
number in the list of successful candidates, she got uspset.

Later in the evening, she bolted her room from inside and
after sometime, the family members found her body hanging from
the ceiling fan, the police added.
