Helicopters carrying Chhatisgarh min make emergency landing

Dehra Dun: Two helicopters carrying a
Chhattisgarh minister and his family members on Tuesday made an
emergency landing at Gauchar area of Chamoli due to inclement
weather.



Chhattisgarh PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, along with
his seven family members, was flying to Kedarnath shrine when
the weather suddenly turned bad, following which their
helicopters made the emergency landing at Gauchar, said
Rudraprayag Superintendent of Police Vimla Gunjyal.
However, the weather soon became clear again and the
helicopters were allowed to take off for nearby Fata heliped,
she said.



Agrawal and his family members are staying at Fata as
the weather on Fata-Kedarnath route is still bad.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh
Chouhan and his family, who are on Chardham yatra in Garhwal
Himalayas, visited Kedarnath shrine and had `darshan` of Lord
Shiva.
