Nanda new SP general secretary

Lucknow: Former West Bengal Minister
Kiranmoy Nanda has been appointed general secretary of the
Samajwadi Party, a party spokesman said here on Tuesday.

SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav has described Nanda
as a dedicated and a hardworking leader and has appointed him
the party general secretary, he said.

Yadav hoped Nanda`s appointment would help strengthen
the party, the spokesman said.
