Dehra Dun: A hotel management student
allegedly committed suicide at Patelnagar area here by hanging
himself from a ceiling fan, police said today.
The body of 23-year-old Devendra Singh, a third year
hotel management student, was found hanging from the ceiling
fan at his house in Nehru Vihar colony of the area last
evening, they said.
Singh was alone at the time of the incident as his
family members had gone to Haridwar. No suicide note has been
found from his room, they said.
Police has launched investigations to ascertain the
reason of the suicide.
