Two brothers from Delhi drown in Kosi river

Two cousins from New Delhi on Monday drowned in river Kosi in Nainital where they had gone to attend a wedding, police said.

Dehradun: Two cousins from New Delhi on Monday
drowned in river Kosi in Nainital where they had gone to
attend a wedding, police said.

Mahesh Molekhi (32) and his cousin Munna (25), both
residents of Ganesh Nagar in New Delhi, were taking bath in
the river Kosi at Ramnagar area when suddenly they were washed
away in the strong current.

Their bodies were later fished out of the river and
handed over to their families after post mortem, police said.

Both the brothers had come to Ramnagar, about 270 kms
from here, to attend a wedding.

In separate incidents, Rupesh and another youth were
feared drowned in the Ganga river while taking bath in
Haridwar yesterday.

Rupesh, a resident of Saharanpur district in Uttar
Pradesh, was working at a private factory here.

Both have been missing since yesterday, police said.
