Dehra Dun: Two persons, including a 12th
class student, allegedly committed suicide in two separate
incidents at Nehru Colony area here, police said on Wednesday.
Jitendra Kumar (20), a student of 12th class, ended his
life by jumping in front of a speeding train at Deepnagar
railway crossing last evening.
His family members told police that he was under stress
for sometime due to pressure of studies, they said.
In yet another incident, Sanjay Bala (46) committed
suicide by setting himself on fire at his house.
His family members rushed him to a hospital where he was
declared brought dead. Bala was under depression over dispute
of property with a relative, they said.
