Khanduri on Monday sought a report into the explosion at a sports
college in which eight children were injured.
Khanduri, who visited the hospital to inquire into the
condition of the injured children, asked sports director N S
Negi to prepare the report immediately so that such blasts do
not occur frequently.

The children, in the age group of 12-17, were playing
with a bomb-type object last evening when it suddenly exploded
inside the Maharana Sports college.
Significantly, the college is in close proximity to
Raipur firing range of the army and the police suspect that
the bomb belongs to the army which might have been brought by
children to the college compound.
Speaking after visiting the hospital, Khanduri said the
government would bear all the expenses of the medical care
