Coal scam: CBI registers new case
The CBI on its ongoing probe in the alleged coal scam case on Sunday registered a case against Electrosteel Castings Ltd and an unknown public servant and also conducted raids at five places in West Bengal and Jharkhand. The case was registered under sections of cheating, criminal conspiracy and Prevention of Corruption Act in its probe related to Parbatpur coal block - situated in the Jhariya coalfield in Jharkhand.
