Week-long Acharya Tulsi birth centenary kicks off with motto “World peace and Anuvrat Movement”

Various dignitaries from political and Bollywood world came together on one platform at Aadhyatmik Sadhana Kendra, Mehrauli Sunday on the occasion of Acharya Shri Tulsi Janma Shatabdi Samaroh-2014 Programme.

New Delhi: Various dignitaries from political and Bollywood world came together on one platform at Aadhyatmik Sadhana Kendra, Mehrauli Sunday on the occasion of Acharya Shri Tulsi Janma Shatabdi Samaroh-2014 Programme.

The programme was inaugurated by Acharya Shri Mahashraman and Sushri Uma Bharati, Water Resource Minister.

Other guests present at the occasion were TMC MP and National Spokesperson Shri Sukendu Sekher Roy, BJP MP from Himachal Sri Ram Sukh, Mr Kamal Kumar Duggar, Chief Convener, Archarya Tulsi Birth Centenary Committee. Punjabi Pop Singer Shankar Sawhney also attended the event.

Ganga is our national identity, thus our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given me an important responsibility to save our mother Ganga and the mother Cow, said Sushri Bharati at the event.

She further added, “I met Shri Acharya Tulsi in Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi 1970 and I feel extremely happy and honoured to be able to witness and be a part of the inaugural ceremony of Acharya Shri Tulsi centenary anniversary celebrations.”

Mr Kamal Dugar said: “This ceremony is a tribute to Late Jain Acharya Shri Tulsi on his 100th birth anniversary. I have only given a helping hand to be able to promote his vision of a peaceful and morally strong society based on foundation of morality without any discrimination of caste, creed or religion.”

On the occasion of the event, Delhi school students paid tribute to the Acharya through their act on World Peace and Anuvrat Moment.

Acharya Shri Mahashraman said that we solve major burning issues of today by inculcating anuvrat vows in our life system. .

Punabi pop singer Shankar Sawhney enthralled the entire audience with his devotional songs, enlightening the spirit of promoting peace and spreading Anuvrat movement among thousands of masses present.Shankar Sawhney

The fourth phase of Acharya birth centenary anniversary will continue till 25th October 2014. These celebrations are being undertaken by Acharya Tulsi Birth Anniversary Centenary Committee presided by chief convenor Shri Kamal Dugar.
