Bankura: Altogether 1286 booths were marked as highly sensitive in Bankura district for the coming panchayat polls, a senior police official said Bankura.
Two armed personnel will be posted in each booth for the July 2 polls in the district, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar said.
The highly sensitive booths all fell in the `jangalmahal` stretch, where Maoists were active sometimes back.
