Barasat: Altogether 16 persons were injured in three clashes between workers of the Trinamool Congress and CPI(M) in North 24 Parganas district on Saturday, the police said.
The clashes occurred at Maulpota and Soai Shibpur villages under Deganga police station and Chandigarh under Amdanga police station.
The condition of the injured was not serious, the sources said.
