Balurghat: At least 21 persons were
injured, some of them seriously, in a clash between ruling
Trinamool Congress and Left opposition Revolutionary Social
Party (RSP) supporters at Tapan in South Dinajpur district of
West Bengal on Sunday.
The police said the clash broke out at Dwipkhanda
locality over a disputed land measuring over six acres, as
some RSP supporters allegedly tried to take possession of the
land in the morning.
The injured, belonging to both parties, were taken to
hospital where condition of some of them was stated to be
