Biman sees conspiracy against Left Front by foreign forces

The CPI-M alleged that international reactionary forces were collaborating with anti-Left Front forces to prevent the spread of Left movement in India.

Kolkata: The CPI-M on Sunday alleged that
international reactionary forces were collaborating with
anti-Left Front forces to prevent the spread of Left movement
in India.

These forces are also engaged in creating unrest in
West Bengal and undermining the unity of the state, CPI-M
state secretary Biman Bose said without taking any name at a
meeting held to observe the 91st foundation day of the
undivided Communist Party of India.

Bose, who had alleged in the past that the Trinamool
Congress joined hands with the Maoists to target CPI-M
workers, said, "Such killings take place everyday. Even
yesterday one of our party supporters was killed at Balarmpur
in Purulia district."

"It is ridiculous that they get perverted pleasure by
indulging in killings," Bose, who is also the chairman of the
ruling left Front, said.

He said there was a need to strengthen the awareness
campaign to counter such forces.

"Partymen should increase rapport with the people. And
there is also a need to increase sale of party literatures and
materials."
