Brigade rally LF`s swansong, says Mamata

Banerjee today described the ruling Left Front`s rally at the
Brigade Parade Ground here as its "farewell meeting" and said
the "corrupt" LF government was on its way out.
The rally was the left Front`s last-ditch attempt to
supply oxygen to a dying entity, Banerjee said, but, she
predicted, "this will prove to be a grand failure".
Banerjee, also the Railway Minister, is confident that
this is the LF`s last Brigade rally before it gets dethroned.
She countered Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and
LF Chairman Biman Bose`s attack on the issue of alleged
corruption of the Congress-led UPA Government, saying the
state government was steeped in corruption and it must face
"Democracy ends with party dictatorship. While Egypt took
30 years for a change, Bengal will take 35 years to bring it.
After the fall of this government, we shall hold a victory
rally at the Brigade where all our ministers will take oath in
front of a massive gathering," she said.
