Kolkata: The condition of West Bengal Chief
Minister Mamata Banerjee`s mother, Gayetri Banerjee, who is on
life support for a kidney-related ailment, deteriorated on Sunday.
"Her condition deteriorated on Sunday and we had to go for
dialysis. She had developed additional complication in heart
on Saturday which has further complicated her health condition"
Director of Medical Education Sushanta Banerjee told an agency.
Banerjee, 81, was admitted to the state-run SSKM
hospital on November 25 and there was no improvement of her
conditoon, he said.
A medical board formed under R Pande was monitoring her
condition.
