Cong says coalition with Trinamool going strong in WB

After the collapse of seat- sharing talks with Trinamool Congress for Kolkata municipal polls, Congress on Monday claimed that it will have no reflection on their alliance at the Centre and in West Bengal.

New Delhi: After the collapse of seat-
sharing talks with Trinamool Congress for Kolkata municipal
polls, Congress on Monday claimed that it will have no reflection
on their alliance at the Centre and in West Bengal.

"It has no reflection at Centre and the state...Our
coalition in Bengal is strong, dynamic and moving towards
victory in the assembly elections," party spokesman Abhishek
Singhvi told reporters here.

The spokesman said it was a "myth" to say that
political arrangement at the Centre and the state would go
down to district, block and panchayat level.

"It does not happen," he said, asking not to
extrapolate the municipal polls issue.
