Kolkata: CPI-M leader Mohammad Salim on Friday
accused the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal of
"playing a dirty game" with him and his family over the
issue of his doctor wife`s apartment inside a state-run
Slamming the TC government for attacking his wife on
the issue, Salim said the apartment provided to his wife, an
anaesthetist, was as per rules.
"There was no question of forcibly occupying the same
(at the Chittaranjan Sishu Sadan)," he said.
The CPI(M) central committee leader said that if the
apartment had been under "forcible occupation", the police
could have been asked to evict them.
"There was no use for the state`s chief executive
(chief minister) to come to inquire," he said.
Salim flayed the state government for violating all
political ethics and "playing a dirty game" over his doctor
wife`s apartment inside the hospital.
