CPI-M member killed by Maoists in West Bengal

Heavily-armed Maoists killed a CPI-M member in West Midnapore.

Kolkata: Maoists killed a Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) member early Saturday in West Bengal`s West Midnapore district, police said.
A group of 10-12 heavily-armed Maoists raided Neguria village and dragged Sayan Pal out of his house and murdered him, an official said.
Maoist rebels are active in West Bengal`s West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts.
