CRPF jawan dies after fall from train

A CRPF jawan died after falling from a train between in Howrah-Burdwan chord line of Eastern Railway.

Burdwan (WB): A CRPF jawan, on a leave to
his native place in Burdwan district, died after falling from
a train between in Howrah-Burdwan chord line of Eastern
Railway last night.

Police said Pintu Dey, who was posted in Hyderabad,
was coming home on a leave to celebrate his son`s birthday on
April 15.
He got down from a long distance train and boarded the
Howrah-Burdwan Chordline Local for his residence at Parui
Gram.
However, he tripped from compartment as the local
train approached Gangpur and was taken to Burdwan Medical
College and Hospital from where he was referred to a Kolkata
Hospital.

He succumbed on way from BMCH to Kolkata.
