Kolkata: One person was killed and three people were injured in a fire at a multi-storey residential building in Kolkata early Friday, police said.
The fire broke out in South Kolkata`s Golpark area. Police said the cause of the fire prima facie was an electrical short circuit in an AC inside a room where the victims were sleeping.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
The injured have been admitted to hospital, police said.
