A number of firearms were Monday recovered from two villages under Indus police station in Bankura district, police said.

Three DBBL guns, one musket and five rounds of
cartridges were seized from Fatehpur village, while four hand
cannons were recovered from Karisunda, Superintendent of Police Pranab Kumar said.

The firearms were found abandoned in fields.
