Five killed by speeding train in West Bengal

The speeding Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express knocked down the five people when they were crossing the tracks.

Howrah: Five persons, including two
women, were on Saturday knocked down and killed by a train when they
were crossing the tracks at Santragachi railway station in
Howrah district.

The speeding Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express knocked down
the five people when they were crossing the tracks instead of
using the overbridge at about 2:30 PM, South Eastern Railway
sources said.

All the five died on the spot, they said.
