Hooghly: Five Trinamool Congress
workers were injured in an intra-party fight during an
election in a school committee at Khanakul in Hooghly district
on Wednesday, police said.
An altercation between two groups of TC over a school
managing committee election led to a violent situation when
both groups attacked each other with stones and empty glass
bottles leaving five injured.
Police used lathis to disperse the warring groups.
