Fog hits flights at Kolkata airport

Kolkata: Flight operations were hit due
to fog at the international airport here with 50 of them
affected since last night.

Airport sources said on Saturday that air traffic was
stalled from 11.30 pm last night to 8.50 am this morning.
An Emirates flight was the first to land at the
airport at 8.50 am.

Thirty outgoing flights could not take off since last
night due to fog while 20 incoming flights could not land.
Visibility till 8.50 am was 50 metres.
