Jawan killed in accident in West Bengal

Jhargram: One jawan was killed and five others were injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling overturned on National Highway 6 in West Midnapore district on Thursday.

The incident took place when a Central Armed Force (CAF) vehicle, carrying eight Armymen, turned turtle near Balivasa village, injuring six jawans, police said.
One of them died when they were taken to the Jhargram district hospital. Two other occupants escaped unhurt, they said.

The deceased jawan was identified as Manohar Route (28), police said, adding, the injured jawans were admitted to the hospital.
The vehicle was coming from Kolkata and was on its way to Bhilai in Chhattisgarh.
