Judicial custody for 3 Burdwan blast accused

A city court on Tuesday remanded three Burdwan blast accused, including Myanmarese national Khalid, to judicial custody till December five.

Kolkata: A city court on Tuesday remanded three Burdwan blast accused, including Myanmarese national Khalid, to judicial custody till December five.

Chief Judge, City Sessions Court Md Mumtaz Khan sent them to judicial custody on a prayer by the NIA, which had taken them in its own custody on November 28 for interrogation.

Apart from Khalid, the court remanded Hakim and Bangladeshi national Sajid to judicial custody after the NIA submitted that it did require them for further custodial interrogation at present and that they be sent to jail custody.

Hakim was injured in the accidental blast on October two in a house at Khagragarh in Burdwan town which killed two persons, revealing international terror links.
