New government will seek cooperation of Opposition: WB minister

The new Trinamool Congress-led government in West Bengal will seek the cooperation of Opposition parties, state commerce and industries minister Partha Chatterjee said here on Saturday.

government in West Bengal will seek the cooperation of
Opposition parties, state commerce and industries minister
Partha Chatterjee said here on Saturday.
Chatterjee told reporters that the new government would
expect the Opposition to cooperate with the state government.
"We will work with the Opposition`s cooperation," he said.

He said Chief minister Mamata Banerjee would preside over
the Trinamool Congress legislature party meeting on Monday.

Pro tem Speaker Gyan Singh Sohanpal will administer oath
to the newly-elected MLAs on Monday.
MLAs from North Bengal will take oath on Monday followed
by south Bengal MLAs on Tuesday and the legislators from
Kolkata, North and South 24-parganas districts the next day.

Trinamool Congress has nominated Biman Banerjee for the
post of Speaker and Sonali Guha for the deputy speaker`s post.
