Jalpaiguri (WB): Unidentified armed men on Monday looted Rs 20 lakh from a bank employee by intercepting a
vehicle at Kedobari in Jalpaiguri district, police said.
Three youths intercepted the vehicle, carrying cash from
the Jalpaiguri branch of the Central Bank of India to its
Haldibari branch, at the busy crossing and looted the money at
gun-point, they said.
The bank cashier and driver of the vehicle raised an alarm
after the gang escaped in a waiting vehicle.
