Saradha to Narada, all planted political game: Mamata

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said the purported Narada sting operation and the Saradha chit fund scam were "planted political game" and the real culprits were yet to be arrested.

In her maiden Q&A session with social media users on Facebook, Banerjee was inundated with queries on the two major controversies.

"Saradha to Narada all are planted political game. The real culprits are not arrested. We will take action. Now the actual Bill is approved. The Saradha man was arrested in 2012 by our government though Saradha started in 2000 under Left Front government under full protection of Left Front and Central government," she posted.

"Why people are in ministerial position after being implicated," posed a netizen.

Banerjee blamed the Left Front as culprits in Saradha and dubbed Narada as an "election political vendetta".

The Trinamool Congress supremo assured all action against those involved in the Saradha scam.

"The Left Front people, who are culprits in Saradha, are not arrested. Even SEBI and other central agencies who are responsible did not take action. Narada is an election political vendetta. All action will be taken against the pillars of Saradha."
