Howrah (West Bengal): A school teacher was arrested on Friday for allegedly molesting a girl student of Prashasta High School at Prashasta in Howrah district.
The police said Biswajit Saha was arrested this evening after the parents of the girl lodged a complaint with Domjur police station that Saha had molested her yesterday.
The police said the parents of the class-V student came to know about the incident when she refused to go to school.
The locals gathered at the school premises this afternoon to demand the teacher`s immediate arrest.
