Kolkata: Trinamool Congress general secretary
Mukul Roy on Tuesday filed a criminal defamation case against CPI-M
leader Gautam Deb for alleging that the party was using black
money as election fund in a city court, which issued summons
to the housing minister to appear before it on May 26.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bankshall Court, Rabiranjan
Chatterjee taking cognisance of the complaint by Roy, Union
Minister of State for Shipping, issued the summons against Deb
asking him to appear before it on May 26, when the matter
would be taken up for hearing.

and without any proof whatsoever and that it was a
