Singur: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Saturday said that her party would soon take a decision on its demand for immediate withdrawal of joint-forces from Naxal-affected districts in West Bengal.

"We will wait two to three days before taking a decision on the demand ffor immediate withdrawal of the joint- forces from Junglemahal as the CPI(M) is taking advantage from their presence to attack us," Banerjee told a rally here.

Banerjee alleged that tribals were being subjected to atrocities by Marxist cadres and joint-forces in the name of tackling Maoists, while the CPI(M) was "occupying" fresh areas.

The party would observe a state-wide black day if the CPI(M) took out victory processions after "occupying" Lalgarh, she said.

Stating that people had tolerated CPI(M) for years, Banerjee said that the Maxist cadres would flee if the joint- forces were withdrawn.
