Villages flooded in West Bengal

Tamluk: Three villages in East Midnapore district were flooded this evening after the embankment of Kansabati river breached at Panskura Bazar, officials said.
The villages of Ratulia, Pratapur, Pansukara bazar were flooded after water from the swelling river entered the human habitations and farmland at about 8.30 pm.
Officials have rushed to the spot and locals are being shifted to safer locations, officials said.
