Vital clues obtained from teenager Maoist

Police on Tuesday claimed to have obtained vital clues on Maoist activities in West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts while interrogating a cadre Sushil Hembram arrested four days from Simlipal area in Bankura.

cadre Sushil Hembram arrested four days from Simlipal area
in Bankura district.

"Information and vital clues have been found in the
statement of the cadre who is believed to be a member of the
Maoist guerrilla squad," police sources said today.

A 9 mm pistol, ammunition and Maoist literature
were found on Hembram who was also suspected to have a hand in
the recent killing of IC of Sarengra, R Moitra, the sources
said.

The IC was killed during a Maoist raid on a CPI(M)
leader`s house.

Hembram, a teenager, was caught by villagers on Friday
and handed over to the security forces. He was later produced
in the court which remanded him to police custody for 5 days.
