Jhargram (WB): Unidentified youths shot at a doctor seriously injuring him at Jamboni in West Midnapore district Tuesday.
Police said Dr Swapan Banerjee alias Babluda was accosted by the gunmen at Porihati locality.
The assailants pumped bullets into Banerjee and escaped soon afterwards.
The injured was rushed to Jhargram District Hospital and his condition was critical.
