Kolkata: Even as the West Bengal Police have detained eight persons, more shocking details have emerged in West Bengal nun rape case.

As per reports, Monday, the police suspect that a minor was among the four accused who raped the 71-year-old nun. The incident occurred at the Convent of Jesus and Mary school in Ranaghat, Nadia.

CCTV footage at the convent had shown visuals of the gang broke that into the convent after 12:30 AM and three-four of them raped the nun after gagging her. Theey also decamped with Rs 12 lakh.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered a CID probe into the incident and promised "swift" and "strongest action" against the culprits.

Meanwhile, a medical board has been formed to look after the Sister Superior whose condition is stated to be stable, according to Nadia District Magistrate P B Salim,

Besides a gynaecologist, a psychiatrist too has been included in the board as the nun has been traumatised after the incident, Salim said.
