Jalpaiguri: A schoolboy was run over and killed by a bus in Odlabari area of Jalpaiguri district,
sparking protest by locals who put up a blockade in the key road, the police said.
Anup Oraon, a class VII student, was going home from school when he was knocked down near the rail bridge by the bus coming from Malbazar killing him on the spot.
Angry local people put up a blockade in the road in protest against the accident.
