Mandapam: Twenty-two fishermen released by Sri Lanka were today handed over to the Indian Coast Guard at a designated position at the International Maritime Boundary Line, the Coast Guard said.

A Coast Guard Air Cushion Vessel and Interceptor Boat took over the 22 Rameshwaram based fishermen from a Sri Lankan Naval ship at the IMBL this afternoon and brought them to Mandapam for handing over formalities, a Coast Guard press release said.
