At least 250 students fell ill Friday after drinking tainted milk at a school in northwest China, Xinhua reported.

Beijing: At least 250 students fell ill Friday after drinking tainted milk at a school in northwest China, Xinhua reported.
The affected students at the Yuhe Town Central Primary School in Shaanxi province, showed signs of illness, including fever, abdominal pain and diarrhoea, a spokesman for the Yuyang district administration said.
The milk was purchased by the district`s education bureau and was distributed in plain, yogurt and walnut flavour. Over a hundred students were hospitalized.
