Los Angeles: A second teacher has been removed
from a classroom at a Los Angeles school where a teacher this
week was charged with photographing children for sexual
thrills.
Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent John
Deasy says the teacher was removed from contact with children
at Miramonte Elementary School after someone made accusations
against him.
Deasy won`t provide details but says the teacher is under
law enforcement investigation.
KTTV-TV first reported the development this morning and a news agency confirmed it with a sheriff`s official.
Mark Berndt was charged this week with committing lewd
acts against 23 students, some as young as 6.
A sheriff`s investigator says the second teacher has not
been arrested or charged.
