92 ill in suspected food poisoning case in China

Beijing: Ninety-two people fell ill in north China in a suspected food poisoning case, authorities have said.
People who had meals in Judewang Grand Hotel at Xin Town of Hanggin Banner (County) in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region began showing symptoms yesterday and were sent to hospitals for treatment, according to the county government.
So far, five people have been discharged while 87 remain hospitalised for further observation, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.
Health workers and disease control personnel are looking into the possible causes of the food poisoning, the report said.
